Third Generation Realtor...



Jennifer Berger is a native Southern Californian and a third generation Realtor.  Following the footsteps of her Grandfather, Mel Crader (Broker/Owner of Chowchilla Realty) and Mother, Olga Crader, Jennifer began real estate in 1998 while attending UC Santa Barbara. She graduated in 2000 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Spanish and soon after attained her Real Estate License.  Jennifer began her career in a boutique real estate firm in Santa Barbara and after 5 years proudly joined Sotheby’s International Realty in Montecito to accommodate her expanding clientele and connect with clients on a local and  international level.

With over 16 years of experience in the field of real estate Jennifer has worked on hundreds of real estate transactions along the California coastline.  Her experience is well diversified and varies across all priced points and types of real estate.  She has sold multiple large estates in Montecito, sold an entire 5 unit new construction project in downtown Santa Barbara and has sold single family homes from Montecito to Goleta with additional cities including Venice, Westlake & Ojai.  In December 2013 Jennifer represented the buyers in the purchase of the historic Libbey Ranch Property in Ojai which was formerly owned by actress Reese Witherspoon, decorated and remodeled by designer Kathryn M. Ireland and featured in multiple fashion and architecture magazines.

Personal Life...


Jennifer was married to John A. Berger, Jr. in September of 2009.  In October of 2010 they welcomed their first born son Oswald Thomas Berger and in July 2013 their second son Calvin John Berger was born.   Jennifer’s full time career is real estate and family.  When she is not hosting an open house or showing property, Jennifer volunteers at their son’s Montessori School and helps where ever she is needed.  Time permitting - she sneaks in a “Crossfit Work Out” or a long run along stretches of where they conduct the Santa Barbara marathon.  Additionally, Jennifer speaks fluent Spanish and has traveled extensively though out Colombia, South America.
